Elora Fine Farming was conceived as more than a produce label. It was envisioned as a platform for transparency, traceability, and personal connection in an industry often reduced to surface-level claims.

As a family-owned farm producing highly traceable, end-to-end produce, Elora Fine Farming set out to tell the complete story of food, from seed to soil to final dish, through a grounded and considered brand identity. The brand was conceived as a space for owner and grower Germaine Borg to share her story, values, and philosophy, reflecting a broader narrative of women shaping farming and hospitality.

The outcome is an earthy, grounded identity that celebrates authenticity, honours the grower, and acknowledges that great produce is defined not only by how it’s grown, but by the people who choose to cook with it.

The strapline Know Your Source. Know Your Food. was developed as a clear expression of Elora Fine Farming’s belief in transparency and connection. It speaks to understanding where food comes from, who grows it, and how it is cultivated, while acknowledging the customer as an essential part of the journey. The repetition of “know” reinforces a shared responsibility and a brand built on honesty and trust.

Supporting symbology was designed to sit alongside the logotype across packaging and merchandise, drawing from simple, almost ancient visual language. The sun represents source, touch reflects interaction, and sensation conveys taste, forming a quiet but intentional system that grounds the brand in nature, ritual, and the relationship between grower, food, and table.
